Evergreen Hospice provides supportive care for people of all ages in Markham and Whitchurch-Stouffville who are experiencing the impact of life-threatening illness and death. Our trained volunteers and professional staff provide practical care and support to individuals and their families dealing with a life-threatening illness in their own homes. Care plans are flexible and designed for each family - including such as services respite care, emotional and spiritual support. The Living Room is offered one day each week to provide respite for families and life-affirming activities to clients.
Individual grief support and groups for children, teens and adults enhance bereavement follow-up offered to families served by Evergreen Hospice as well as the public. A resource library is available at the hospice office.
