The Good Neighbours’ Club assists a tremendously underserved segment of Toronto’s population: men over 50 dealing with issues of poverty, social isolation and homelessness in downtown Toronto.
We’re open from 8:00am to 5:00pm 365 days a year to provide essentials that men of limited means might need, such as nourishing hot meals for a dollar, newly renovated hot showers, washers and dryers for fifty cents, free clothing, winter coats, and shoes, free mail service, free phones, meals on wheels, computers with free internet, private library service, haircutting, peace and quiet, and companionship.
To provide services that promote well being, personal growth and community integration for older men addressing issues of homelessness, social isolation and health.
We provide these services and promote dignity and respect in a safe and supportive environment.
